The Day After Tomorrow

The flood is gone. The arch has landed. Its time to build the legend around. How?! Of cause we need a memorial. Our one will be a silvershining disc - yesssss:

We call all Exile On Mainstream Bands (whether active, dead, or new projects of ex-members ) to JOIN IN and contribute some RARE MATERIAL (mixes, b.sides, yet unreleased ones ...;) for a very special record.

Some tracks are already in the making ... this contains mixes, rarities and unreleased tracks of BOMBEE, WIVE, ROEDER and VOLT ... every single addition is required. Please get in touch with us via direct message on Facebook or ask for our mail adress there.

Just a break ...

... no. this aint no after peak silence. We just went to see some bits of the world for a bit. Now back here things seem to lead back to normal and its time for a first resumee:

The donation button is history. The Exile Trust recived nearly 2.000 € * within just 20 days - that is truly amazing and more then we ever thought of. In collusion with Andreas we stopped the money flow, but our help will continue …

In summation with the revenues from the two benefit shows we have a total of nearly 2.800,- € * to give. Please allow some time, before we´ll report, what this amount will be used for … first of all Andreas & Beate need to get all the things settled in the house and bring their business back to work, which seems to be going pretty as far as we´ve been reported.

There will be definitly more news to come up soon.

TET - benefit shows weekend - THANK(S) YOU ... !

We can´t write THANK YOU as big as we would have to: That was an amazing weekend, shure you´ll get the details, including videos from the shows and everything else soon. please allow some time, we´d like to give you those fantastic numbers as short summary - we had 155 guests on both shows, a total of around 180 including all the helping hands, hope for posts from all of you involded and visitors …

Benefit shows - Update

Unfortunately DON VITO will be able, to play JUST the GERA show. But as you know we´ll have OSIS KRULL in Dresden and RUPTUR and BOMBEE on both nights! So hopefully there will be a piece for everybody in every town. SEE YOU THERE!

Another topic: Please DO NOT donate directly to EOM via banktransfer to their account, cause they would have to pay taxes for those donations as revenues. So please: continue using the paypal donation. And for those of you, who don´t like to do so, for various reasons, contribute with ideas ...

Day #2

... and the help is still rising, with nearly 200 supporters and over 40 contributors this is - as we said - way beyond our expectations. we appreciate every single comment, mail and of course donation.

Because some people explained their concerns about using paypal, we think, you could also donate directly to EOM, but we would ask you to wait till the biggest damages are fixed and Andreas and Beate have the time and the power for communication. I don´t think we will or should publish the bank account data.

Just a short resumee of day #1 - we are online for just 24h - with close to 130 supporters on facebook and more then 30 contributors on the list - benefit gigs to be set up soon all across the planet (well half of it at least) - that is way beyond our expectations and an amazing proof of solidarity - keep up the great power, spread the message and get back here with any more ideas and supporters!

ok. we* put this site online today, because we felt we need to do something. please join in with ideas, we will put up more informations, thoughts and hopefully other useful knowledge soon.

* well for those of you, who do not know us, yet – we are the »Chemnitz« section with: Boris (VOLT, BOMBEE) Alex (BOMBEE), Roeder (himself, fluID, CELAN, BOMBEE), Markus (BOMBEE), Nico (VOLT, SHIT AND SHINE) and Babsi (SHIT AND SHINE, VOLT) - this list will hopefully grow, cause we know, that many many people in our region are true fans and supporters of EOM and DIY in general.
